About Me

I’m a Northern Ireland-based freelance journalist with experience in news, business, disability, social issues, arts, entertainment and interiors.

A journalist since 2006, I have worked independently for a number of publications since 2008.

In June 2010, I passed my NVQ Level 4 in Newspaper Writing and began freelancing for the Belfast Telegraph shortly after.

I worked shifts on the news and business desks, wrote features for its monthly Business Month magazine and continue to contribute reviews to the paper’s arts and entertainment pages.

I also write for UK disability title Pos’Ability magazine and VIEW Magazine, the free digital publication dedicated to Northern Ireland’s community and voluntary sector.

Follow the links at the top of the page to see a small sample of my work to date. These sections will be updated regularly as my portfolio grows.

I am available for freelance commissions, so please get in touch.
